Just across the street of the university library lies the KAR. With 3 floors this house provides a home for a total of 35 students from all kinds of origins and interests.
The big green area around the house is being used frequently and especially in the summer it invites to a relaxed evening e.g. while having a nice barbecue with friends. In less than 5 minutes to walk you reach basically everything: Supermarkets, the Tram, sport areas and of course the KIT itself.
The self-administration is very obvious inside the KAR due to the convenient number of inhabitants. Everybody is welcome to participate in all decisions and to bring in his own ideas.
